Main Pay Scale - £22,467- £32,187

Upper Pay Scale - £35,571 - £37,496

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, innovative, forward thinking Teacher of Science who can inspire confidence and a love of learning in this subject area so that every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.  The role is to cover maternity leave.


The Science department is a core department, who enjoy a close working relationship and a good team ethos of support and encouragement.  The department has 6 teaching staff, teaching the separate Sciences, Double Award, Single Science and Btec, all to AQA specification.



The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good degree and the ability to teach to all levels

  • Understand the needs of students and how to remove learning barriers
